How to get to Wimbledon

If you're travelling with LNER to Wimbledon, we can get you all the way to London King's Cross on one of our Azuma at 125mph (almost as fast as the official tennis serve world record speed of 157.2mph!)

To get you the rest of the way you can choose between the London Underground and Overground or London buses.

London Underground to Wimbledon from London King's Cross

Approximately 55 minutes

From London King's Cross St Pancras - Victoria - Southbound.

Get off at Vauxhall and change platforms to get the train towards Dorking.

Get off at Wimbledon and walk 20 minutes to Wimbledon Courts.

London Buses to Wimbledon from London King's Cross

Approximately 105 minutes

From London King's Cross, walk 3 minutes to London St Pancras International Station.

Get the number 73 or 390 bus to Oxford Circus or Victoria and stay on for 8 stops (approximately 20 minutes).

Get off at Tottenham Court Road Station (Stop YB).

Walk to Dean Street/China Town bus stop (Stop W) (approximately 7 minutes) and get the number 14 to Putney Heath. Stay on for 26 stops (approximately 47 minutes).

Get off at Putney Heath (Stop FE).

Stay at Putney Heath (Stop FE) and get on the number 93 to North Cheam. Stay on for 17 stops (approximately 24 minutes).

Get off at Wimbledon Station (Stop D) and walk for one minute to Wimbledon Courts.

Our trains can get extremely busy during popular tennis events at Wimbledon. Please allow extra time for boarding and ticket and reservation checks.

Please be mindful of the time of the last train out of London King's Cross. Always check your entire journey before you travel.
